About the Founder

Dr. Dwayne Ray Cormier is a visionary leader with a diverse background in education, research, and technology. His career includes roles as a nonprofit leader, middle school science teacher, and assistant professor at a Research 1 University. Dr. Cormier’s educational journey took him through historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), where he earned a BA in Psychology from Edward Waters College, an M.Ed. in Sports and Leisure Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and an MAT in Middle School Science and Mild to Moderate Special Education from Xavier University of Louisiana.

Dr. Cormier earned his doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Pennsylvania State University, specializing in Curriculum and Supervision. With deep expertise in School Change, Adult Learning, Sociocultural Theory, and Mixed-Methods research methodologies, he is passionate about advancing education through innovative technological approaches. As the founder of CRS, Dr. Cormier spearheads the research and development of VSorts™ AI, a groundbreaking SaaS platform for qualitative data analysis in Experience Management and Advanced Analytics, focusing on education.
